It is always good to listen to the new works of the artists that are published on the label, sometimes we think we have heard enough or the most of them but no, in each work they continue to surprise us more, as is the case of CASTLE IN RUINS, is inspired by Isekai in the Demi-human or strongest divine beast of the Dungeon almost Demon King of the Dungeon "La Arachne La Reina Taratecto".
This album is entitled "The Nightmare of the Labyrinth".
Dedicated to The strongest Arachne that only an adventuring hero could defeat.
The first track I'm listening to immerses you in the adventure, knowing that you've been through too many things to get to the dungeon where you mentally prepare yourself for a big fight, with a 16-bit synth that makes on one side a nice hopeful melody and another one that makes you think that something very big is about to happen, high and low notes stand out in this first track, worked by CASTLE IN RUINS who could say that every album he releases he masters more and more and learns to play, combine notes, melodies, to deliver songs taken to the quality of someone who makes music for video games or anime.
The second track as a classic sound of a nes or super nes prepares you a fight against the boss in 8 bits, where he makes us remember with the notes of his synthesizer those RPG fights, where we had the opportunity to dodge, flee or fight, as I said before, Castle In Ruins still surprises me in this album the way he projects and works the melodies with the synthesizer, entering you in an "imaginary" fight and making you part of the adventure.
This last track has left me surprised by the level of musicalization, melodies, arrangements and the way he composed the melodies, how they all sound together and sounds the end of the adventure, closing a chapter, each melody fits well against that makes you want to listen again the album from beginning to end without skipping any track, as well as wanting to read something fantastic from the anime of the ISEKAI genre from which the album is inspired!
Once again CASTLE IN RUINS doing his thing with these synthesizers and putting the genre he plays on high, he doesn't fall behind in every work you can hear from him and enjoy his melodies as the concept albums he handles.
