about

It's the last month of this year and still coming out releases of any form of music style; my younger brother Isa from Space Loneliness presents this split album with a great artist and talent from France; the great Eric Jovet, who honestly I am glad to give my point of view towards his great work and worldview to the interpretation of his music through his "side project" I ETERNAL, who is Eric Jovet behind this project? For me he is an honest and simple person who has a deep bond of always looking beyond the borders of his environment, trying to reach more audience but this does not mean that in a mainstream way but rather "cultural" and friendship, union, concept and interest towards the vision and the musical bojetibos of each person in this world, thanks to him and some close artists I returned to music too... To describe Eric Jovet is infinite because apart from being that integrated and focused person, and that unique quality that distinguishes him for being simple and being direct and humble, his music could be defined in an amalgam of stages of different branches of this minimalist music.
Here he presents us 3 tracks together with Isa from Space Loneliness
Fantasy Tones reminds us of that progression of sounds and melodies that are given step by step very characteristic of Musique Concrete as this theme is its forte, its inspiration, this musical branch that since memorable times radiates that ambiguous feeling of an expression that does not follow a fashion and trend, rather it is an organic proliferation of how an instrumental piece should be carried out without so much arrangement, nor mixtures rather that this natural essence that tends to be molded in the Musique Concrete is made clear as the label of the genre and that only the exponents of the same one as it is Eric Jovet can show us in his composition.

Sad Stellar is rather a work that you can feel that effect and that rusty texture that glimpses in Death Industrial and Drone Ambient, that drowned omen of heaviness in the atmosphere that envelops the environment, you feel that expressive line that is generated as a cutting wind that deafens your senses, "honestly these are my favorite melodies" you also feel a kind of dirtiness of the white noise as a product of the technique used for this instrumental piece, sometimes those little details create or become part of the melody as a key piece for the melody, although it is to be admired that the piece does not become monotonous rather it increments your mind and makes you keep consuming this sinister sound that is like in a claustrophobic place and isolation.
Ton Regard is a huge layer and a binaural mantra and at the same time dissonant that shocks when it advances in that long beginning and return of this Drone and that pessimistic texture of the Dark Ambient that reminds us of those gloomy Soundscapes where the Noise and the carcinogenic Industrial of low frequency combines with a lot of reverb and where the note is lengthened to propagate this instrumental piece product of that suffocating ghostly whisper that covers all the corners and spaces around you ...... If you use headphones the experience is unimaginable and concise.
Undoubtedly Eric Jovet here offered us themes of different label and that complement quite a lot with his counterpart with Space Loneliness it is worth noting that always the artists almost never talk about the way they generate their musical pieces but here he showed us that the technique he used here is a gem and is a good product of a great quality that addressed different expressive forms of the Sonorous Experimentation.

Isa has matured in terms of interpretation as he is now leaning more on new tools and new atmospheres although with his characteristic stamp of tragedy in his notes, melodies that are cold, melancholic accompanied by a subtle joy that quickly passes away as the harmony advances, undoubtedly "absorbed by the Eternal" reflects that emotional impact through his own musical interpretation.
"There is still light in the darkness" is a theme very attached to the Dungeon Synth, maybe because now he tends to create works in Wood Knight his side-project and wanted to resemble the past also of Space Loneliness where he also created works of different harmony and different concept not only of the Spacio era and here are more cheerful notes that face an epic of personal overcoming and a recollection of the soul and a warmth of the spirit....
"In the Depth of Nothingness" reminds us very much of the wave that is Harold Budd as this is a great influence of Isa, as always the tragedy runs through the Synth always rooted there, showing that nostalgic note and that melody as a base supported by that instrumental sadness... Rather the Space, The Infinite, The Firmament is that something that creates a loneliness not physical but rather spiritual and that wishes to be fed and repaired with a light or spark of hope
I thank my brother Isa for this review and I wish you my best wishes always!!!!
To my great friend Eric Jovet thank you for everything and we will be in touch very soon again...
