Honestly I don't know Uburgrund's work, the reason is that sometimes the human being isolates himself from the environment, but that is wasting time and it is better to feed the soul, your mind and your hunger to know beyond your "Comfort" and the borders that you impose yourself as such!!!! Uburgrund presents us with a long and vast work that is so well acceptable to your ears and your ideals, since it is a project that develops progressively that is making its way using many techniques characteristic of Experimental Sound and the concept of using an amalgam of rhythms, effects and dynamics to the understanding of this pseudo-musical current! The Experimental label carries it like a great banner, since each fragment of notes and bases fit perfectly and when you feed yourself with each progression of these elements whether Analog, Digital and Electronic they leave in you an acceptable load of emotions, since on the one hand we have that current that leaves galloping like formula that experiment of rusty sound between static and palpitations of some drones that are behind the rhythmic base of the industrial fuzzing.some polyphonic loops that appear and fade in and out and favor each TRACK quite a lot, also that sizzle that emerges that if rather I'm not mistaken is by the slow and dense crossing of the knobs maneuver in a subtle and smooth way so that it generates that texture of that chaotic INDUSTRIAL of the past!!!! Honestly from the first and second track Uburgrund attracted all my attention "He's an artist who's whole in what he does" because? Because he tries to reaffirm more each sound and noises and rhythms in something that can be "felt" without falling in violent frenzy of pure Harsh Noise, rather he tries to deliver some pieces where you can distinguish and confront these precious electronic and elegant forms...
Perhaps he has taken his own experience to be consuming and polishing his style and creative way from the perspective of looking for the inspirational key in every second minute or fraction that he is himself "Behind his equipment and machines".
Ambient parts, noisy fragments, apocalyptic collapses, electronic rumbles, spatial sound effects, ritualistic atmospheres, binaural movements, static and archaic sounds.... A whole range of abstract tempos and interpretations delivered to the Anti music.
The melodic parts are great, for example when listening to the third theme works very well that way of entry that is like a Drone that fade to a texture of a wall that evolves, but quickly breaks and generates another friction of back and forth of the collapse of the Soundscapes that is marking as a primordial base, tangent there marking itself, leaving that it fulfills its task, that the part of the act is being built to that Sonic chaos that is a time bomb that is compressed and then spits other forms and other vibrations to be manipulating fragment by fragment and looking for this dynamic to go decorating the holes where the parts of each composition of the noises and sounds that are vociferous in the environment are complemented.
The cover art is very interesting and at the same time it is a very beautiful and elegant emblem, as I imagine that as in all countries and here in Mexico the Organilleros used this rustic and archaic instrument to harmonize the environment of a society that walked the streets perceiving that soft and relaxing sound to your ears, trying to give you that calm from the chaotic pace of life of urbanization and any kind of visual, environmental and psychological pollution,
Also the title fits very well with the music and the concept of the same album making an emphasis to that interpretative experience of the echoes and whispers of the cusp of being in advance in a desert place, perhaps it refers to a region or also to the perception of solitude where one can capture and captivate any order of movements and astral thoughts, physical or of a subconscious nature !!!!!
UBURGRUND Gravitas deserti (cacophonogravitropism)
The sounds of UBURGRUND acquired differential expansions in response to cerebral stimulation and sedation infused by preferential consumption of various sur-legitimate substances. This resulted in hyper-melodious concentration of noises curving up or down around the gravity vector of the unnecessary desert of silence. “La madriguera del tlacuache” from Mexico kindly accepted to publish this electric-harsh-noise cacophonogravitropism from the Romanian burrow noise-underground
